Today Meredith Corp. named Caroline Marks the company’s first ever general manager, parents and lifestyle digital. In the new position, Marks will manage business strategy and product development for the parents network of sites and work to boost Meredith’s social/lifestyle content such as Real Girls Media. Marks will work under Liz Schimel, EVP CRM and digital. Schimel is confident Marks will enhance Meredith’s value among female audiences.
We are excited to bring someone with Caroline’s diverse experience in the global digital marketplace to Meredith. Her deep knowledge of the digital landscape and experience developing digital media brands will enable us to build on our industry-leading position and reach with women.
Prior to joining Meredith, Marks was GM for The Daily Beast. She also has worked for the Comcast Corportion, Ziddio, and British Telecom Wireless.
