More Layoffs, Reportedly, in the Works for CBS News

Last February, CBS announced the news division would be sliced by nearly 100.
Now, The Daily Beast reports a new wave of cuts are coming to the once-vaunted news division in the near future, possibly as soon as the fall.
In the past two weeks, the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric has drawn 4.89 million viewers, its lowest figures in the 20 years since Nielsen Media Research has been following those trends.
Couric, meantime, is beginning her final year of a five-year, $60 million pact with CBS News.
The Daily Beast reports there are various scenarios on the table that could land Couric somewhere new.
