Last February, CBS announced the news division would be sliced by nearly 100.

Now, The Daily Beast reports a new wave of cuts are coming to the once-vaunted news division in the near future, possibly as soon as the fall.

Couric, meantime, is beginning her final year of a five-year, $60 million pact with CBS News.

The Daily Beast
reports there are various scenarios on the table that could land Couric somewhere new.
