New You Off to a Rough Start

New You just debuted in early January, but things are already getting complicated for the magazine. According to The New York Post, New You’s editorial and creative director — Don Luciano — has been was arrested by the FBI for his alleged involvement in sending child porn online.

Luciano is currently being held in a Florida jail without bail. “The defendant has boasted about his sexual involvement with underage boys and his sexual interest in infants and toddlers,” the judge overseeing the case wrote in denying Luciano bail. Luciano’s lawyer told the Post that they are fighting the charges.

To compound that, New You’s editor-in-chief, Rachel Zalis, abruptly quit or was fired just last week. No one quite knows what happened.

Amidst the drama and chaos, Lisa Anastos has been named the magazine’s new president and executive editor. We wish her good luck dealing with one hell of a headache.
