Original Ted Rall Sells for $355

Cartoonist Ted Rall wasn’t too happy with the prevailing wages in the newspaper world, so he decided to try a novel approach to having his work commissioned–auctioning his services on eBay. That was about a week ago and the results are in. For $355, a man named Doug Kennan has commissioned Rall to create a cartoon about “hemp.”

Rall was happy enough with the result that it looks like he’s going to auction himself off again. Writes Rall on his blog: “If you lost, fear not for you’ll have another chance tomorrow.”
