Playboy Moving to Chicago?

playboy-february-2008.jpgTalk about jumping on a number of different bandwagons. Page Six hears that Playboy might be closing its editorial office in New York and moving to Chicago (Obama!) where it will combine the digital and print operations (join the club!)

Rumors are flying that the magazines editorial director Chris Napolitano will be replaced by Jimmy Jellinek, the head of the online operation.

The company, which has always had a home office in Chitown, is struggling (ad pages in the magazine are down over 10 percent) and lost CEO Christie Hefner to retirement in December.

We emailed Napolitano for comment, but have yet to hear anything back.
