Rupert Murdoch Sells Off Radio Stations

radio_star_4.6.10.jpgRupert Murdoch is selling News Corp’s radio stations. Perhaps you were unaware that News Corp owned radio stations. If so, don’t feel like a mega-dumb media outsider! They all happen to be based in Russia.

Vitaly Bogdanov, a member of the Russian Senate who already owns two other radio stations, has purchased Moscow-based stations Nashe Radio, Best FM and Ultra stations. News Corp has supposedly been attempting to sell the stations, unsuccessfully, for $16 million, but the amount Bogdanov actually paid has not been disclosed.
