  • Zell knocked foreign news as something “journalists like to cover” but that readers don’t enjoy.
  • Zell’s voting for “ABC – anybody but Clinton.”
  • When asked what he would think of his Los Angeles Times endorsing Hilary Rodham Clinton… he joked it would be a “good justification” for him to sell the newspaper.

    Finally: A media mogul even more plainspoken then Ted Turner.
