Starbucks Now Carries USA Today

usatoday03152010.pngNationwide coffee chain Starbucks is now carrying nationwide newspaper USA Today, the paper announced today.

The paper will appear across the country in Starbucks’ more than 6,500 locations. In New York City, USA Today joins The New York Times and the New York Observer on the coffee shop’s newspaper racks.

The move may prove a distribution bonus for USA Today. Parent company Gannett has experienced declines in both circulation and ad revenue last year.

“We look forward to being a part of the Starbucks experience that is enjoyed by millions across the country each day,” said USA Today president and publisher David L. Hunke in a statement.
