A tipster has told FishbowlNY that Jon Stewart is telling insiders he will not host the Oscars unless the WGA writer's strike is settled. The February 24th Oscars telecast would be Jon Stewart's second time hosting. The Academy Awards, which is second rated only behind the Super Bowl, would be a big blow to ABC, which is scheduled to run the telecast.
