Report: Rising New York Post Star Gets City Hall Bureau

Another scoop for Capital New York media reporter Joe Pompeo. According to his multiple sources, the New York Post has tapped education reporter Yoav Gonen, “considered a star internally” (pictured), to take over from David Seifman as the Post‘s City Hall bureau chief.

Pompeo has more. Per his quick Web research, this rising star also likes to dabble in house music. Something that could come in handy for the celebration party.

NY Post to Name David Seifman Political Editor

The New York Post is expected to promote David Seifman to political editor soon, according to Capital New York.

Seifman has been covering city hall for the Post since 1982, and has been city hall bureau chief since 1989.

No word yet on who will fill the big shoes vacated by Seifman.
