Hearst has tapped Duncan Edwards to succeed George J. Green as the president and CEO of Hearst Magazines International. Per the release:

Edwards, currently chief executive of The National Magazine Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hearst, will assume his new role on February 1, 2009 and will relocate from London to New York. At the same time, Edwards will be appointed executive vice president of Hearst Magazines and vice chairman of The National Magazine Company. Also on February 1, Green, who has held his position since 1989, will become chairman of HMI.
