Vanity Fair Promotes Ad Director, Family Circle Taps Account Manager

Vanity Fair and Family Circle made personnel moves today. Below are the details.

  • Vanity Fair has promoted Bill Mulvihill from advertising sales director to national advertising director. Mulvihill joined the magazine in 2011. He previously spent three years at Entertainment Weekly as its East Coast ad director. Mulvihill reports to Mary Connelly, Vanity Fair’s associate publisher.
  • Danielle Fullick has been named account manager at Family Circle. Fullick comes to the magazine from National Geographic, where she held the same role. Prior to her time at NatGeo, Fullick was Southern Living’s senior integrated account manager.

Promotions Abound at Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair vice president and publisher Edward J. Menicheschi announced a number of sales-management promotions at the magazine.

Amber Estabrook has been promoted to the newly created position of associate publisher, luxury. For the past three years, Estabrook has been a member of the magazine’s management team as an advertising director. This new position focuses more on luxury advertising—a growth category for the publication.

Bill Mulvihill has been promoted to advertising director. He joined the magazine in 2011, as the advertising director, sales development. In his new role, he will direct sales activity across multiple categories.

Susan Naci has also been promoted to advertising director. Previously, she held the position of advertising director, beauty. Now, Naci will oversee multiple categories including beauty, fashion, luxury, and retail.

Mary Connelly Promoted at Vanity Fair

Stop looking into Justin’s eyes. Just stop it for one second! We have some news: Vice President and Publisher Edward Menicheschi has promoted Mary Connelly to Associate Publisher of Vanity Fair. Connelly came to the magazine in 2009 from Vogue, where she was American Fashion Director.

At Vanity Fair, she took on the position of Advertising Director, Sales Development, and managed the magazine’s entertainment and spirits categories.
