Time Names Michael Duffy and Radhika Jones Deputy Managing Editors

Time has made two major promotions this morning: Michael Duffy and Radhika Jones have both been upped to deputy managing editor.

Duffy has been with Time since 1985. He has served as Pentagon reporter, Washington bureau chief, nation editor and executive editor. Jones joined Time in 2008 as arts editor. She most recently served as executive editor. Jones has overseen many of Time’s special issues, including Person of the Year and the Time 100.

Radhika Jones is Named an Executive Editor at Time

Radhika Jones has been promoted to executive editor at Time magazine. Jones, who has been with the pub three years today, has edited the last two TIME 100 issues and the Mark Zuckerberg “Person of the Year” issue.

Jones joined Time from the Paris Review, where she was managing editor. She began her journalism career at the Moscow Times, where she started as a copy editor.
