Get Up to $1.75 per Word at Worth

A successful pitch to Worth will land your piece in front of a highly exclusive audience: Only select readers with a minimum net worth of $5 million are invited to subscribe. The pub is also available on newsstands with its book-quality paper and elegant graphic design for $18.95 a copy. Though the mag has been around for 20 years, it recently underwent a reinvention, shifting its focus away from trusts and estates to a younger, more entrepreneurial set.

“I’d say [Worth] is much more about stories than before, and we’re always looking for great profiles and Q&As on people who are under the radar but doing interesting things, as well as extraordinary luxe items and experiences,” said managing editor Emily DeNitto.

Allure Names New Managing Editor

allure.pngLinda Wells, the editor-in-chief of beauty magazine Allure, named Felice Kaplan the title’s new managing editor today.

Kaplan, formerly the managing editor at Travel + Leisure Golf, will start work at the Conde Nast pub on June 1.

The move is bringing Kaplan back to her roots: she started her career as an editorial assistant at another Conde title, Vanity Fair. She has also worked as managing editor at Mirabella and assistant managing editor at Worth.

She is replacing longtime ME Andrew Wilkes, whose sudden departure was reported by the New York Post earlier this month.
