Technorati Now Ordering MSM, Too

tech03.10.09.pngTechnorati, those crafty kids who rank the blogosphere, are now turning their attention to putting the crazy, mixed up world of mainstream media on the Internet into some semblance of order.

With its Attention Index, the site will give a monthly breakdown of which non-blog sites bloggers link to the most.

According to a VentureBeat story about TA, “Bloggers primarily source each other, at about 61 percent of the time. But 46 percent of the time, they link to non-blog Web sites.”

So what are the top five?

Well, currently YouTube sits in the No. 1 spot, followed by New York Times, BBC News, CNN, and MSN. Sounds about right to us.
