Tina Dupuy: Democracy Requires Participation

selmashssotblog.jpgWe’re taught in J-school not to take sides. We don’t advocate, we report. Then we get out of J-school and find all the good jobs go to guys like O’Reilly and Olbermann, and we’re left feeling stupid. So what do we do? We take up a cause. And we blog.

FBLA’s Tina Dupuy is off doing the Lord’s Work, poll watching for Barack Obama in Ohio, and she’s writing about her experiences on her blog (though, oddly, not on ours…). As she explains, “Why? First because I can. Second because if not me, who? Third because democracy requires participation.”

Balls-out stuff, Tina. We miss you.
