Today is a new day for our organization as we proudly announce the global re-branding of VNU as The Nielsen Company and publicly launch our new identity.
As one Nielsen, we offer a stronger, more focused branding that not only conveys the tradition of expertise and quality long associated with the name, but sets us well on our new path of opportunity and clarity through an integrated information perspective for all clients. Our branding as “Nielsen” uniquely captures the unmatched consumer insight and media intelligence we bring to the marketplace. It also better aligns all of our businesses with the client as well as with one another. In so doing, we build on the excellence in products and services that enable our clients to grow. Similar to our previously announced organization transformation, this re-branding effort does not simply begin and end with this announcement. We are entering into a period of identity transition that requires working together like never before as well as regular communication with our key audiences about what an aligned Nielsen brings to the table.
