Wired Makes Two Moves

Wired has made two changes today. Stefanie Rapp has been named executive director, integrated sales; and Andrew Maiorana has been named general manager, advertising, for Wired.com.

Rapp comes to Wired from Town & Country, where she most recently served as associate publisher, since 2009. Maiorana has been Wired’s integrated advertising director since 2011.

“With Digital Revenue quickly approaching nearly 50 percent of Wired’s revenue, it is important that we continue to evolve our organization to meet the needs of our brand and that of our clients,” said Wired’s vice president and publisher, Howard Mittman, in a statement. “Both of these announcements are significant as we close out Wired’s highest-revenue-producing year in the brand’s history and continue to build on that momentum for 2013.”
