A well-published journalist and seasoned editor, my career includes varied newspaper and magazine staff positions, both digital and print, affording me a wide range of writing experience and access to first-rate sources. Currently, I serve as a specialty editor (food/nutrition, health and fitness) and weekly cooking columnist for northern NJ's largest daily newspaper. In addition, I am the editor for Eater Maine, part of the Curbed Network family of blogs. My prior post, food and entertainment editor for a regional monthly publication, encompassed: developing story ideas and feature packages from start to finish; writing restaurant reviews, wine and spirits stories, travel and entertaining features and profiles on key people in the food and restaurant industry. I have extensive experience coordinating and executing complex pieces on tight budgets, with limited personnel and short turnaround times. |
