Professional Experience
"A breeze on my face and a draft on my lips." As a freelance writer specializing in active travel and craft beer, I share two of life's pleasures with my readers.
I have been a professional writer for over two decades, including six years as Editor-in-Chief and Co-Publisher of the inspirational V Magazine for Women, freelance writer for the Richmond Times-Dispatch and other local and national periodicals, and author of For Any Young Mother Who Lives in a Shoe (Judson Press).
My career has taken me down many fascinating paths: producing leadership training materials, writing Objectivist philosophical materials, creating marketing copy, editing book manuscripts, and working with financial call center agent scripts.
Words have the power to entertain, uplift, and inform. I'm pleased that my profession uses this tool to enhance people's lives.
