Amazon Asks Readers: ‘Should This Story Be Made into a Movie?’

Amazon’s content production arm Amazon Studios has released a digital comic book called  Blackburn Burrow, a haunted story set in the Civil War America.

Writer Jay Levy brought the piece to Amazon’s content arm as a screenplay for a feature film but after comments from the Amazon community, the idea evolved into a digital comic adaptation. If it proves popular, the comic may be adapted as a motion picture.

On the product listing page, Amazon asks readers, “Should this story be made into a movie? Tell us what you think at blackburnburrowsurvey.com.” The comic is available through Amazon and Graphicly as a free download. The next issue will be released in October.
