Author Sarah Palin Joins Fox News as Contributor

Today news broke that memoirist and former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin will appear on Fox News “on a regular basis” after striking a “multi-year deal” with the conservative news channel.

Here’s more from the NY Times: Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time.

Palin reportedly sold 300,000 copies of her memoir in a single week in 2009. Last week Wiley dropped a book about Palin from NBC reporter Matthew Berger, deciding that “the marketplace changed.”
