Gather.com Enters Self-Publishing Arena with AuthorHouse

Gather.com announced the launch of Gather Community Press, a collaborative venture with self-publishing specialist AuthorHouse (which recently acquired iUniverse. “Now you can break into the publishing world and see your work in print,” the social networking site enthuses in its press release; their program includes six free review copies, which you’re strongly encouraged to give to other Gather members, and 50,000 free ad impressions to promote your book on the site.
