JD Nixon Leads Self Published Bestsellers List

JD Nixon topped Smashwords for another week on our Self-Published Bestsellers List with Heller’s Decision.

To help GalleyCat readers discover self-published authors, we compile weekly lists of the top eBooks in three major marketplaces for self-published digital books: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. You can read all the lists below, complete with links to each book.

Amazon Self-Published Bestsellers for the Week of September 2, 2013

1. Seduced  by Melody Anne: “At the end of Submit, Arianna Harlow had enough pride in herself to walk away from Rafe Palazzo, who had started their relationship using blackmail. Though she’d fallen in love with him, she was strong enough to say goodbye.”

2. Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken: “I’m not your typical girl. I’ve been running away from the memories that haunt me for so long that depression has become my only comfort. I was content in the darkness…until Wes Michels offered to be my light. I didn’t know that time wasn’t my ally — that every second that ticked past was one step closer to the end of something that was beginning to mean the end of myself.”

3. Fueled by K. Bromberg: “Colton stole my heart. He wasn’t supposed to, and I sure as hell didn’t want him to, but he crashed into my life, ignited feelings within me that I thought had died forever, and fueled a passion that I never knew could exist.”

4. Driven by K. Bromberg: “Rylee Thomas is used to being in control. But she’s about to meet the one man that just might make her enjoy losing it… I am the exception to the rule.”

5. Fearless by Eve Carter: “life is looking up for Jesse. With expert help from Chase, his injuries are healing and he makes preparations to enter the Pro motocross circuit again. A decision that could force Niki to make a difficult choice.”

6. Raising Ryann by Alyssa Rae Taylor: ”Twenty-year-old Reese Johnson can finally leave her troublesome past behind. She enters college with her best friend, Gia, and spends her time doing what she loves–working as a self-defense instructor at a local gym. Then Luke Ryann enters the picture.”

7. My Unexpected Forever by Heidi McLaughlin: ”I expected a life of music. I expected to raise my son. It took one look to make everything change. I never expected happiness.”

8. Dust (Silo Saga) by Hugh Howey: “WOOL introduced the silo and its inhabitants.  SHIFT told the story of their making. DUST will chronicle their undoing. Welcome to the underground.”

9. Fool for Love by Marie Force: “Joe Cantrell, owner of the Gansett Island Ferry Company, has been in love with Janey McCarthy for as long as he can remember. At the same time, Janey has been dating or engaged to doctor-in-training David Lawrence. ”

10. The Billionaire’s Obsession by J.S. Scott: “Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely and overwhelming source. Billionaire Simon Hudson makes her an offer that is impossible to refuse, but terrifying to accept from a man that she’s never met.”
