Linda Nieves-Powell — Hispanic Heritage Month

Latina novelist, Linda Nieves-Powell is no slacker. In fact, she is known in New York City as one of the hardest working Latinas entertainment. Why? Because in addition to being the novelist of Atria’s Free Style, she is also a full-time working playwright, mother and owns her own theater production company, Latino Flavored Productions. The company is one of the most in-demand Latino theater companies in the country.

Named “Mas Que Belleza” by People en Espanol and one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine, Powell is also an Imagen Award Winner.

She has appeared on NBC Today, PBS City Arts, Good Day New York, Univision Noticias, NY1, Latin TV, The Roof, La Conexion, Urban Latino TV, Images/Imagenes, Telemundo Noticias, and Primer Impacto.
