Mediabistro Circus Will Feature Two Publishing Leaders
On May 20 at 92YTribeca in New York, Mediabistro Circus will feature two publishing leaders–part of a one-day conference focused on women in media and technology.
The program is entitled Visionaries and Provocateurs, and will feature Blurb CEO Eileen Gittins and HarperCollins associate publisher Debbie Stier.
Gittins will talk about “the passion that drove her to start Blurb, and thoughts on the impact that self publishing can have on authors, writers, and the publishing industry.” Stier will focus on “how [digital trends are] changing the way we communicate, and how it all applies to book publishing.”
