Now You Can Has Dubbel Cheezburger

Late yesterday afternoon, literary agent Kate McKean informed us that she’d just completed negotiations with Patrick Mulligan of Gotham Books for the publication of How to Take Over Teh Wurld: Lolcat’s Guide to World Dominashun, the second book in the I Can Has Cheezburger franchise. (With the first book spending 13 weeks on the NY Times bestseller lists, you didn’t need to be Criswell to see this coming.)

The new book comes out in the fall, and includes 200 lolcats, some of which we’ve been assured will not have appeared on the website beforehand. It does appear, however, that the all-cat theme of volume one will continue, which makes us despair that our own contribution to the field will ever grace the printed page.
