OR Books Teams Up with St. Mark’s Bookstore

ORBooks.pngSt. Mark’s Bookstore in New York City has partnered with publisher OR Books. Now, customers can purchase select print and digital books from the OR Books’ list through the store website.

Co-publisher John Oakes had this statement: “We look forward to expanding this program to other stores around the country and around the globe. We see no reason why Google Editions should have all the fun. This approach will benefit the store, the publisher, and any independent-minded reader with Internet access.”

Store owner Bob Contant expressed satisfaction that the store now sells books in all formats. OR Books‘ unofficial motto is, “No book printed until it’s sold.” OR Books imprint Mischief + Mayhem will be represented at our eBook Summit on December 15th. Last week we interviewed OR Books co-founder Colin Robinson, getting his thoughts on digital handselling.
