Sarah Palin Book Dropped

palinbook23.jpgDespite Sarah Palin‘s blockbuster success in 2009 with her memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” NBC reporter Matthew Berger will not write a book about Palin for Wiley.

Politico has more on the deal: “In December 2008, Berger signed a deal with Wiley to write a book on Palin, which he tells me is no longer happening. ‘The marketplace changed, and we decided not to move forward with the manuscript,’ Berger said. The biggest change to the Palin marketplace, of course, was her best-selling memoir.”

Last year Palin reportedly sold 300,000 copies of her book in a single week week, becoming topic of debate for everybody from cartoonists to political readers lurking in the GalleyCat comments section.
