Cecelia Ahern’s ‘Love, Rosie’ To Be Adapted

Love, Rosie by Irish novelist Cecelia Ahern will be adapted into a film.

Lily Collins and Sam Claflin have been cast in the lead roles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story follows “a college-age girl who discovers she’s pregnant after one night with the most popular boy at school.”

Over in the United Kingdom, Ahern’s novel is known as Where Rainbows End. HarperCollins UK released it in 2004. For the United States market, the title was changed to Love, Rosie. Read more

Sally Kim Named Editorial Director at Simon & Schuster

Sally Kim (pictured) has been named editorial director at Touchstone, a Simon & Schuster imprint. She will report to vice president and publisher Stacy Creamer.

Her authors have included Lisa Unger, Gillian Flynn, Allison Winn Scotch, Justin Evans, Phillip Margolin, Cecelia Ahern, and Kate White.”

Kim’s previously served as executive editor at HarperCollins. Kim’s publishing career has included jobs at Random House, Macmillan, and the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.
