Man Booker Shortlist Revealed

Canadian born novelist (who lives in Oregon) Patrick deWitt has joined the Man Booker Prize for Fiction shortlist with his novel, The Sisters Brothers. We interviewed deWitt about his work back in 2009.

The shortlist includes first-time novelists Stephen Kelman and A.D. Miller and four of the novels were published by independent publishers. The winner will be announced on October 18th. Below, we’ve linked to free samples of all the longlisted novelists.
