Caroline Manzo Inks Book Deal

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo has landed a book deal with HarperCollins’ It Books imprint for a nonfiction book called Let Me Tell You Something.

According to Yahoo! News, Manzo’s book will include her “life lessons on family, friendship and long-term happiness.” Publication is set for March 2013.

The 51-year-old TV personality has been a part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey since 2009. The show is currently in its fourth season. Other Real Housewives stars who have also published books, including New York City cast members Bethenny Frankel and Alex McCord.

Calvert Morgan Named Publisher of It Books

Cal Morgan has been named senior vice president and publisher of HarperCollins’ It Books imprint.

Morgan will also oversee the Harper Design imprint team and continue to serve as editorial director of the Harper Perennial original paperback program. He will report to Michael Morrison.

You can follow Morgan on Twitter. He began his career at Macmillan’s St. Martin’s Press. After joining HarperCollins in 1999, he worked at several imprints including ReganBooks, Harper and William Morrow. He has worked with Neil StraussLauren RednissJerry Lee Lewis, Kelly Oxford, Stanley Crouch, Arianna HuffingtonMichael Moore and Ralph Nader.

Sammy Hagar Shares Extraterrestrial Experience in Memoir

In his new memoir, Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock, Sammy Hagar recounts his early hard times on welfare, his adventures with rock band Van Halen, and an experience with extraterrestrials.
