Following union discussions, Cambridge University Press may be able to save as many as one-half of the 119 jobs the company said they would cut.

The company has held talks with the union Unite, planning ways to reassign laid-off workers and utilizing printing resources in different parts of the publisher, reports Bookseller. In January, the press announced they would lay-off more than 9 percent of the company's workforce.
