Tori Spelling to Publish Her First Children’s Book

Simon & Schuster’s Aladdin imprint will publish the first children’s picture book by television personality and author Tori Spelling. Presenting…Tallulah is currently scheduled for publication September 21, 2010.

Together, Spelling’s previous two books–Mommywood and sTORI Telling–have nearly one million copies in print. She is a prolific writer. In June, Spelling will also publish another book for adults with the tentative title, uncharted terriTORI.

Here’s more, from the release: “Spelling and illustrator Vanessa Brantley Newton (Let Freedom Sing and Drum City) bring to life the story of a spunky little girl who, with the help of some special friends, is able to discover exactly who she is. Says Spelling, ‘I love reading to my kids. It’s our special time together. That and my passion for story telling inspired me to write a children’s book of my own to read to them and children everywhere.’”
