Freitag Joins JFWBK

Michael Freitag has joined financial and corp comms firm Joele Frank, Wilkinson, Brimmer, Katcher as a partner. Freitag was previously a partner at Kekst & Company and head of the firm’s restructuring and reorganization practice.

He’s worked on more than 100 Chapter 11 cases, including Blockbuster, Frontier Airlines, Polaroid, Winn-Dixie, and Kmart. Moreover, he’s been involved in a number of proxy contests and his work has taken him into issues including private equity firm improprieties, the end of Enron, crisis comms, and dealings with both the really rich and nonprofits.
