Kelly Cutrone and Dr. Phil Join Forces
A few weeks back, Kelly Cutrone said she had a couple of things in the works that would bring her back to television.
It was officially announced today that Cutrone is joining Dr. Phil as a special correspondent. She’ll appear both in-studio and out “in the field” through the remainder of this season. Could this be the “syndicated daytime regular big thing” she told New York magazine about? We’ve been in touch to find out.
Update: We spoke with Kelly Cutrone who confirmed that this is the daytime deal she was referencing previously and she expects to be on the show “regularly.” She also tells PRNewser she has a development deal with MTV for a program where she will be the executive producer. The name of the show will be announced soon and Cutrone says, “We’re getting ready to shoot that pilot right now.”
And, there’s another book on the way. Normal Gets You Nowhere will land on bookshelves next year.
For a taste of what to expect, here’s a clip from Cutrone’s November 4 appearance on the show.
