Last night, Havaianas threw a party to celebrate its Spring collaboration with men’s fashion designer Michael Bastian at Soho’s Lure. (We hear the restaurant, located on Prince and Mercer, is the place for downtown lunches. Check it out here.)
As if the sliders and sushi weren’t enough, there were some male models wandering about shirtless. In some cases, as you can see, they were missing pants as well. But they were wearing Havaianas.
In case you’re still reading, the line was inspired by scuba divers — the “guys on the boat” who work “behind the scenes,” according to Havaianas’ marketing director James Anstey — and you can check out the line here, which was only launched today.
After the jump a couple more pics from the party, and a video with Bastian talking about the line.
