Marketing Smells Like Christmas Spirit

Harald Vogt, founder of the Scent Marketing Institute wished us a Merry Christmas today with the e-card above. His email did not give off a piney smell, and for some reason has unapologetically Christian imagery.
These are the guys who I’m sure champion the Hollister waft at the mall, creating deeper imprints on the synapses of impressionable young minds. A quick look at the site reveals that the SMI recently played host to the launch of “The Signature Scent of Vegas,” so you’ll know where you are the moment you land at the airport and take a whiff.
