MDC Partners Inc. (MDCA) has announced preliminary third quarter results. The marketing and communications holding company saw a revenue decrease of 5.3% to $134.6 million vs. $142.1 million in Q3 2008. However, earnings increased 9.9 percent to $18 million.

MDC PR holdings include Veritas Communications and Lime Public Relations + Promotion. The company also recently invested in social agency Attention. MDC will officially release earnings on October 29th.
