New York Times Issues Embarrassing Correction to PR Feature
If you haven’t read it yet, this New York Times feature story on crisis communications from this past weekend is a must read. However, the Times issued what some have called an embarrassing correction at the end of the story:
Correction: August 22, 2010
An earlier version of this article misspelled the last name of the public relations agent who represents the New York Yankees and the News Corporation. He is Howard Rubenstein, not Rubinstein.
After 56 years of working in New York, perhaps as its most influential and well-known PR executive, Mr. Rubenstein can’t get his name spelled correctly in the Times.
