Tourism Australia has selected Ketchum for PR across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America after a competitive search. The win was effective last Friday and will last for the next three years with the possibility of extending another year. Ketchum’s Los Angeles office will lead the account. According to the release, Fleishman-Hillard was the previous firm. Its contract ended in June.
Miami-based Grupo bt USA was selected by The Bahamas Tourist Office for marcomms work to drive at least 50 percent growth in Latin American visitors to the islands. The campaign slogan is “Bahamas, No lo has visto todo.”
CooperKatz & Company has added three clients to its roster: the nonprofit Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation; The Digital Advertising Alliance, a self-regulatory group focused on online advertising best practices; and Kroll Bond Rating Agency, which was formed to build trust in ratings agencies.
Brandon Mychal Smith, star of The Disney Channel‘s Sonny with a Chance, Phil of the Future, and So Random, has chosen French/West/Vaughn as PR and marketing AOR. Smith, now 22 years old, has been acting since he was seven, making an appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Susan Magrino Agency has been chosen as the AOR for Canyon Ranch, the healthy living resort and spa company. The firm was selected after a competitive pitch involving at least four agencies, the firm tells PRWeek. The firm has previously worked with the company on an event in March.
