Roll Call: CNN Worldwide, Rubicon Project and Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners

Allison Gollust has expanded her role with CNN Worldwide, adding chief marketing officer to her responsibilities.  Gollust has served as SVP of communications for CNN since March of this year. As CMO, Gollust will have oversight of strategic marketing, creative services and event marketing. These groups will work closely alongside the communications group. Gollust will continue in her role as SVP of communications, which includes oversight of all messaging strategy and execution on behalf of the portfolio of CNN networks and businesses, including CNN/U.S., HLN and, as well as domestic operations of CNN International and CNN en Español. She serves as chief spokesperson for the news brand and leads teams in New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Los Angeles. Gollust came to CNN earlier this year after serving as communications director for NY State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. (Release)

Rubicon Project announced Julie Ginches has joined the company as chief marketing officer. With more than two decades spent working with the top technology companies in both the advertising and enterprise industries such as DataXu, Jumptap, FAST and Automony, Ginches brings proven leadership and innovative customer focused programs to her new role as the head of Rubicon Project’s strategic marketing initiatives. As the first ever CMO of Rubicon Project, Ginches is tasked with building the company’s leadership position in advertising automation technology. She is responsible for all marketing functions, from leading the company’s global profile and go-to-market strategy to marketing communications, demand generation and product marketing. Ginches has 20 years experience in launching and growing high growth companies. She joins Rubicon Project from leading programmatic marketing platform DataXu, where she led the company’s marketing efforts. (Release)

Kerry Fitzmaurice has joined Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+) as chief marketing officer, effective December 2. In this newly created role, the seasoned marketing executive will lead the marketing of kbs+ as the agency continues to grow in North America and expand into new markets globally. Fitzmaurice joins kbs+ from Mother in New York, where she served as director of new business and communications. Prior to Mother, Fitzmaurice was director of earned media at 72andSunny in Los Angeles where she created communications solutions for global brands such as Target, Unilever, Activision, Hewlett-Packard, Anhueser-Busch and Bugaboo. Time Inc.’s Lifestyle Group editor Sid Evans has hired food editor Hunter Lewis away from Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit. Lewis will be executive editor at Southern Living, and will oversee food content in print and online. (AdWeek)

According to Business Insider, Anthony Bourdain, host of the Travel Channel‘s “Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations“, is leaving the Travel Channel for his own show on CNN, which will air on Sundays beginning early in 2013. Roll Call: CNN, IMAX, Porsche, and More

VP of PR for CNN Worldwide Nigel Pritchard has announced he will be retiring after 15 years with the company and more than 28 in broadcast media. Lauren Cone, a senior publicist with the organization, will be taking on the majority of the duties Pritchard leaves behind. And Bridget Leininger, director of PR for CNN in Atlanta, will be head of the PR function for TV programming.

Marc de Grandpre has been named the CMO of IMAX, The Hollywood Reporter writes. De Grandpre will lead the efforts to bring 3D viewing into the home through a partnership with Discovery. He was previously CMO of Qualcomm’s mobile commerce brand, Firethorn.

Nick Twork has been named manager of product comms for Porsche North America. He will lead product-related media activities for the company in the U.S. He was previously as GM where he managed PR for Cadillac. In addition, Gary Fong has been named product experience manager and Dave Engelman has been appointed media relations manager.
