Roll Call: enVu, MWW and Decker Communications

enVu announced that Cary Miller will head its West Coast Region as the new director of sales. For Cary, the new position marks a return to the company for which he worked from 2010-2012, serving as an account director. This announcement follows enVu’s statement in March 2013 regarding two new director of sales executives that were brought on board to lead the Eastern Sales Region. enVu anticipates its next expansion phase will focus on the Chicago area. MWW announced that Marilyn Berry Thompson has been named non-executive chairman of the company’s Washington, DC office. Thompson, who joined the firm five years ago and has until recently served as its executive vice president and general manager since 2009, will continue to provide senior strategic counsel to the office and will actively manage several of its clients. Prior to joining MWW, Thompson ran her own private practice for over two decades. She headed the State of New Jersey’s Washington office for 12 years under three Governors, and also headed the Coalition of Northeastern Governors’ Washington office. (Release)

Decker Communications, Inc. announced today that Kelly Decker has been named president by the board of directors. Formerly the company’s executive vice president, Kelly Decker assumes her new role as the firm focuses on scaling and growth. She succeeds Ben Decker, who will now serve exclusively as the chief executive officer. As president, Ms. Decker will be in charge of scaling the elite quality of the communications training and messaging programs upon which Decker Communications has built its reputation. Prior to joining Decker Communications, Kelly worked as a consultant for The Alexander Group Inc., a boutique sales management consulting firm. (Release)

Tucker/Hall, Inc. named Stephanie Amberg vice president at the firm. Amberg was a senior communications advisor at Tucker/Hall in the mid-1990s focusing on public relations and marketing strategies in the areas of commercial real estate, tourism and hospitality and luxury brands. Amberg returned to Tucker/Hall in 2012 after serving as vice president of public relations at OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC (recently renamed Bloomin’ Brands). (Release)

Porter Novelli announced that Diana Valencia joined the company as senior vice president, multicultural communications. In leading this practice, Valencia will oversee client programming designed to reach all demographic segments under the multicultural umbrella. Valencia has worked in both corporate and agency roles over the course of her career. She spent nearly five years with Univision Interactive Media in New York, most recently as senior director, mobile sales development, leading strategic operations for the discipline. Before that she was director, mobile content & services for Univision – working out of Los Angeles and New York. (Release)

Oxygen Media has promoted Matthew Jarecki to vice president, advertising sales. In this new role, Jarecki will be responsible for generating and expanding national advertising sales revenue for the Northeast, with a focus on integrated marketing and multiplatform ad sales partnerships. He will work closely with the Account Executive team as well as clients and agencies to deliver multi-dimensional deals and provide brands with an exclusive level of exposure through cross-platform integrations.
