DKC PR Adds Three Offices

DKC Public Relations has added three new offices in Washington D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles. While the firm has yet to appoint an office leader in Chicago, it has hired two heads for the other locations.

Brittany Hershkowitz will be leading the new Beverly Hills office. Hershkowitz joins from Hype Creative Agency where she was director of PR. The office will bring the firm closer to entertainment clients, corporate clients including Delta Air Lines, Moet & Chandon, and Showtime, and clients in the sports, media, travel, and luxury areas.

Megan Pollock, previously the director of the division and policy communications group at the Consumer Electronics Association, will lead the firm’s Washington D.C. office. That office will pay special attention to media relations campaigns surrounding legislative issues.

ULTA Selects DKC

The firm will work on media strategies, creative partnerships, product placements, store openings, and outreach to celebrities. The firm’s digital practice, DKC Connect, will help with social media programs.

DKC and Forum Strategies Partner to Target the Automotive Industry

DKC Public Relations and Forum Strategies & Communications have partnered to form Accelerate, a full-service firm that will target the automotive industry. Services will include experiential marketing, content creation, outreach to policy makers, and traditional media relations.

“We realized while talking with our auto clients that a revitalized auto industry requires new ways to engage and interact with their consumers,” said Richard Frisch, president of Forum Strategies.

Both firms will continue to operate independently with Jeff Sindone, President of Forum Media, and Liz Anklow, EVP at DKC heading up Accelerate.
