Burson-Marsteller Staffs Up With ABC News, Newsweek, MSNBC & MS&L Vets

A number of veteran journalists, and one PR executive have joined Burson-Marsteller, the agency announced today.
The new hires include Newsweek senior editor David Noonan, former MSNBC producer Angelena Abate and Barbara Shear, former Senior Vice President at MS&L. All have been named Directors in the agency’s US Media Practice.
In addition, the practice has also hired Ronna Waldman as a Manager and Abby Huntsman as an Associate. Both were formerly of ABC News.
Noonan, Abate, Shear, Waldman and Hunstman will be based in New York and report to Burson-Marsteller Executive Vice President Worldwide and Chair of the U.S. Media Practice Josh Gottheimer.
A Burson-Marsteller spokesperson confirmed to PRNewser that these are new positions at the agency.
