The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has chosen Porter Novelli for an educational campaign that was part of the Affordable Care Act. It’s a $20 million contract, and Weber Shandwick and Fleishman-Hillard also competed for the business. [via]

Front Row Tampa Bay, which will broadcast Web TV programming about economic opportunities in that region during the Republican National Convention, has chosen Hill+Knowlton Strategies. H+K services will include media outreach, marketing, and other comms support. The broadcast and the Convention will happen between August 27 and 30.

WhaleShark Media, which says it’s the largest online coupon and deals site around, has chosen Allison+Partners to promote the company’s RetailMeNot brand and its corporate comms program. GSD&M was chosen as the company’s ad agency. Both were selected after a competitive review.

Incapital, an underwriter and distributor of various financial products, has chosen CJP Communications as its AOR. The company is looking for greater brand awareness as it adds staff and expands across North America. Work will include media relations, thought leadership, and executive visibility efforts.

Cellebrite, which provides a variety of mobile services, has chosen Affect for brand awareness work. The firm will target various vertical markets and business media.

Abine, a company that provides online privacy tools, has chosen RF|Binder as global AOR. The firm will promote messaging tied to giving people control over their online data and how Abine’s products can help do that.

Ad Age is reporting that P&G has moved its Gillette account from Porter Novelli to Ketchum after a competitive review. PN had been Gillette’s agency for the past 20 years. The review was reported in August. Ketchum will work closely with ad agency BBDO. Other P&G firms in the U.S. are MSLGroup and DeVries (Publicis and IPG firms, respectively), Paine PR, Marina Maher Communications, and Taylor.

Euro RSCG Worldwide PR has been chosen as AOR for Stand Up for Heroes, a celebrity fundraising event benefiting wounded U.S. servicemen and their families. The Bob Woodruff Foundation and the New York Comedy Festival are partnering for the event for the fifth year. It will be taking place November 9 at 8 p.m. at New York’s Beacon Theater. Jon Stewart and Jim Gaffigan are among those slated to participate.

Kate Moss in Topshop

Topshop has hired Zapwater Communications for PR, marketing, social media, and events work tied to the September opening of the retailer’s Chicago store. David Zapata, president of Zapwater, said the fees for the account are “sizeable” with more than six staffers doing the work. [via PRWeek]

The Snoring Center, which specializes in treatment for snoring and sleep apnea has chosen Hill & Knowlton for both traditional and social media PR work. The firm’s L.A. and N.Y. offices will work on the account.

Beckerman has added six clients to its real estate practice: ABS Partners, a NYC brokerage and consulting firm; Avidan Management, a family-owned New Jersey real estate company; Centaur Properties, which acquires and rebrands property; Claremont Companies, a development and construction business; First Potomac Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust; and Hollister Construction Services, a general contractor.
