CNN took a close look at the actions taken by the White House communications team over the course of an hour yesterday afternoon after the Democrats voted against bringing President Obama’s tax bill to the floor.

President Obama continues to express confidence in the bill, which would extend both tax cuts, including those for people earning more than $250,000, and unemployment benefits.
