U.S. Airways Tweets Some Hardcore Porn

So now we now know which airline had the worst possible day on Twitter.

We’re not going to share the image in question because WOW, but we are currently trying to figure out what the hell happened.

Here’s the exchange that preceded what will almost certainly be remembered as history’s most unfortunate corporate twitpic:

usairWTF

We see two possibilities:

  • A certain social media manager had had enough of his/her job and wanted to punish the customer while committing professional suicide in one fell, x-rated swoop.
  • Someone had been using his/her (who are we kidding, it’s his) work computer or tablet for other purposes like showing co-workers a nasty “we should send her this” picture. He then confused the link to the image with the link to the U.S. Airways site.

Right now we’re leaning toward the first option, because how could anyone be so dumb?

If that does turn out to be the case, we have to say that there are other, more productive ways in which to air one’s “work/life balance” complaints.

We all work for a living, dude.
