Earlier this week, we noted that Aaron Sorkin‘s next project was set in the world of cable news. Well, it is moving forward, with HBO giving the pilot a green light, according to Deadline Hollywood.

Deadline reports that Sorkin shadowed MSNBC hosts Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in addition to some anchors at CNN and Fox News, in preparation for the show. Despite the previous reports, Olbermann is not involved with the program in any way (though he may have the free time now).
