Anderson Cooper: TV Anchor, TV Watcher

On today’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen asked guest Anderson Cooper what television shows he catches in his free time. The CNN anchor says he has watched ABC’s The Bachelor, and that for a while, he was “addicted” to MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. But he ditched the program eventually, moving on to Paula Abdul’s Bravo reality show, Hey Paula, and MTV’s Tiara Girls. “(Tiara) is, like, low-rent beauty pageants,” Cooper explained. “It’s like the Miss Filet of Steak Pageant from Philadelphia.”

And, in case you’re wondering, there was no Tom Brokaw Boogie for Cooper: he did not dance with Ellen on today’s show.
